Camp seemed a little empty today as our Upper Summits left for their 3-day overnight trip. For a minute, the Dining Hall was eerily quiet. It didn’t last long, however, as the rest of camp quickly jumped up to cheer with competing chants of “WE RUN THIS CAMP” and the very first “G14 ‘15” cheer.

It was a great day down at the waterfront, perfect for waterskiing, tubing, and playing on the inflatables in our free swim area. The U13 girls hosted a basketball game against Fernwood Cove and after a hard fought battle, we came away with yet another victory!

After an exhausting week full of excitement, surprises, and celebrations, we decided it would serve everyone well to have a relaxing bunk night and an early bedtime. We let the photo staff take a break from their typical routine of running all around camping taking pictures of evening activities so that they could participate in their own bunk’s activities. We hope that all campers and staff will be well rested as we head into the final week of first session.

Tomorrow morning, our Lower Summits leave on their 2-day overnight trip and then camp will really be quiet…Although the Timbers sitting next to me (who helped write this blog post) assure me this won’t be the case. Goodnight from Bridgton and Sebago!

Sincerely,

Sam Gragg, David, and Eli
